In 2011 DWI was asked by the government of KRG to advise on methods of limiting the smuggling of people, weapons and goods in the region. ARM recommended and oversaw the design, build, finance, operation and maintenance of two state of the art mobile vehicle scanners which operate on major highways in Kurdistan today.

Consultancy: Crisis Management - Gold Mine Evacuation

In 2008, DWI were asked to consult on the security and crisis recovery for a gold mine in the north east of the DRC. At the time, the Lord’s Resistance Army was posing an immediate threat to the company’s staff. Our response was to develop and implement an innovative evacuation monitor that ensured the successful evacuation of personnel on multiple occasions whilst maximizing the company’s operations during periods of lower threat.
